Consonants
d1s are thicker and use more tongue; if you know anything about the Arabic language you know the sound. It’s not a standard d. dadedidodu – standard D ghagheghighoghu isn’t G; it’s the uvular trill AKA French R. h1 is the guttural h; more throat h2 is standard h J as in asian k is standard k kh is the guttural famous in Arabic and Hebrew; as in Channukah q is a thick tongue-y K, like d1 is thick. throat k/click. sa etc. + 1 = tsa, tse, tsi, etc. sa no 1 = standard s t1 = standard t t2 = thick tongue-y T th1 = th as in think th2 = th as in the th3 = v as in vagabond Remember, unless specified otherwise, you take a half second pause between sounds. |
